About the Business
We are a fourth generation family business and have been serving the carpet and flooring needs of Croydon, London and the surrounding areas for 75 years! We supply and install all types of domestic and commercial carpet and flooring in private homes, rental properties, commercial buildings, schools and new builds. We have two showrooms, one in Battersea (recently moved from Northcote Road to St John's Hill) and our showroom, warehouse and head office in Croydon. We stock a large selection of small and rooms size remnants with huge discounts at our Croydon showroom.
We are an Amtico specialist retailer, members of Carpet Foundation, TSI (formally OFT) approved, Metro Group (Carpet 1st) Retailers and IS0 9001 compliant. We were founded in 1939 by Jack Crow and are celebrating our 75th Birthday in the carpet and flooring industry. We started life as Direct House Hold Supplies Stores and as the name suggests we traded in everything household related including carpet and flooring.
